well... this picture looks lovely.



Fortunately it looks like it will be going south of most of the Hawaiian islands. That's great news for all my Hawaiian buddies (ie:

[info]timelady) Just stay safe you guys! Now... as for all my east coast folks... especially my Floridian friends, well we COULD be in for something this season but... we shall see. It's a busy time in the Atlantic with the Tropical Depression 4 out there and several tropical waves.

Weather is good out here right now. Bright and sunny. Kind of hard to imagine that there's a hurricane slightly south. Luckily I'm on Oahu and not the big Island where they'll be getting most of the wind and rain. I choked yesterday when that photo popped up first thing on the opening screen of AOL. ...and they downgraded it to a category 2 this morning. Which is good because it would have just been embarrassing to be hit by a hurricane named Flossie.
